Thank you for choosing ¾«¶« for your home this summer. The staff in Guest Services will do their best to make your stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. We are excited for you to explore, learn, grow, and experience all that Statesboro and Savannah have to offer while you stay with us.

This Welcome Guide provides you with all the information you need to help you during your stay. If you have questions, refer to this document. Feel free to contact our office if you need additional questions or assistance. Guest Services will provide you with a team of individuals to answer questions or assistance you may need throughout the summer. All contact information is located in this document and posted throughout the buildings.

University Crossings, located on the Armstrong Campus in Savannah, is the perfect residential community for faculty and staff members to call home – whether temporary or long-term! University Crossing offers a quiet environment with private entrances, convenient parking, and close proximity to the heart of campus.

Requirements

  • Proof of Employment (offer letter or verification with HR)
  • Driver’s license or state-issued ID
  • Minimum Night Stay: 30 days

Cancellation Fee

  • If a contract is canceled while the employee is still employed, the employee will be responsible for half the remaining contract value.

Pet Policy

  • A $350 nonrefundable pet deposit is required as part of the pet policy.

Having an internship is a great opportunity, but finding housing can be challenging. Intern housing at ¾«¶« offers an excellent solution for interns in the Savanah, GA area. We offer apartment-style units with full kitchens, furnished living rooms and bedrooms, and affordable pricing. Georgia Southern provides exceptional service and great value to meet your housing needs. Staying on a University campus has several benefits for companies looking to have several interns in one area and interns who want convenience.

Intern Housing at Georgia Southern is a reliable, safe environment, includes a hassle-free enrollment process, and our housing options far exceed that of an independent renter.

Windward Commons is the newest residence hall on the Georgia Southern – Armstrong campus, located in the heart of campus with convenient parking for intern housing. Windward Common floor plans offer both private and semi-private suites. All furnished bedrooms have an extra-long twin bed, desk, and chair. Each suite contains a shared bathroom with a mini-fridge and microwave provided. Interns will have access to a community kitchen and unlimited access to laundry facilities in the complex.

Meal Plan

Meal plans for all Eagle Dining facilities can be purchased by visiting our online store.

The following meals are available for interns based on a 10-week stay:

  • 14 meals a week: $1,085.00
  • 10 meals a week: $775.00
  • 5 meals a week: $388.00
  • 3 meals a week: $232.00

Parking

All vehicles parking on campus require a parking permit.

  • Permits can be purchased at the Eagle Card and Parking Office (11935 Abercorn Street, Savannah) or through the online store.
  • Parking permit cost: $50.00 for all interns bringing a vehicle to campus.

Armstrong Recreation Center (ARC)

All individuals are welcome to purchase an ARC membership to utilize the recreation center next to Windward Commons.

  • Membership Cost: $45.00
  • Purchase Location: ARC at 11935 Abercorn Street in Savannah

Renter’s Insurance

All individuals are encouraged to carry appropriate insurance for personal protection.

  • Personal property insurance is recommended for damage or loss of belongings.
  • Liability insurance is also encouraged to cover potential damage to university property caused by negligence, accidents, or intentional actions (e.g., stove fire damage caused by guest).
